We're moving from out of town and needed a quick place to stay for myself, my husband, our toddler, *and* our cat-- the first room we were put into was quite unsavory: the AC wasn't functioning properly and there was visible graffiti, BUT the front desk QUICKLY moved us into another room. The second room we were put into was very large and nice, I was surprised to see a big closet area for storage and three sizable desks, plenty of room for our belongings and two comfy QUIET beds (no squeaking like the nearby Motel 6!). The front desk was extremely fast to bring us warm clean towels right to our door and even had maintenence men come help set up a large flatscreen television for us to enjoy and the wifi password-- they noticed our toddler was a bit afraid and they were sooo caring to help make her comfortable. When I first got here I couldn't wait to write a bad review about that first room to point out all of the flaws, but the longer we stayed I realized this motel is honestly just doing the best they can while dealing with customers that aren't giving them the same respect. It's not like the motel workers come into their own rooms to write graffiti or break things, and I can't IMAGINE how hard they work to keep up with everything while just trying to run their business the best they can. Yes, there ARE small roaches which is a common motel problem (the last 2 motels we stayed in had them as well) but we checked for bedbugs and they had none. If you're expecting somewhere in tip top shape, avoid this place, but if you just need a quick night's rest the beds are comfortable AND no people screaming all night outside like at Motel 6... All in all, we had a great night.

You may be asking yourself, "Why is she rating a lower rent hotel so highly?" Well let me tell you a little something about this place. They have some rooms that are a little worn, and they rent them at discount. They have some rooms they rent at a weekly, discounted rate. The walk ways may be a little dirty from traffic dust and street oil. But the staff are truly nice, kind people - which is so unusual to encounter these days. They allow pets, and ensure owners actually pick up after them - something no other hotel in the area even bothers to do. And they offer breakfast every morning in a bright and clean dining area. You know, I had been warned against renting here, but I'm actually glad I needed the most inexpensive room I could quickly find → because I would have missed this diamond in the rough. They made me feel welcome when I was so beaten down and bone-weary. So look a little deeper than the skin folks, and maybe you too will find a diamond too.

I'm staying and I love the new management, the renovated rooms are so clean and the walls are thick so not much sound travels through. Good environment and friendly staff.

Good size rooms just some of them have a really bad roach problem and the carpets in some of the rooms look (and they sometimes smell) like they haven't been properly cleaned in years. Also in some of the rooms the electricity is wired super WEIRD... There will be like 2 outlets in the WHOLE room, one of them is in between the 2 beds but it's 2 inches from the ceiling and the other plug in is like 3 feet high but it's behind the door.. makes no sense lol. Other than those couple things the staff is super cool and helpful and the pool is really nice in the summer time.. all in all I don't mind it for the price, just hope and pray you get one of the better rooms (less cockroaches, cleaner floor, etc.) lol

Go here every month for some quiet private quality time with missus. They are a little rough around the edges but for being one of the cheaper hotels they are remarkably good. Beds are clean, rooms are big. In between our stay this time and the time before it, they upgraded the bathroom and updated to a flat screen TV. The new walk in shower is absolutely phenomenal, it's big enough for the both of us. Ample plugs in the rooms. Coffee is tasty. Hot waffles. Theyve got cereal and milk and toast as well. And theyve got orange drink. No clue what it is, probably tang or something. Its certainly not orange juice. Very quiet place. Also close to hodels and lots of fast food and milts diner is right around the corner with some great American food. Always satisfied when we stay here.
